Erzahontas Ch 10

A lot of Echidnas arrived to Cobra's village. Their leader, Locke the Echidna, along his son Knuckles and his grandfather Athair (from Sonic Underground) and Pachamac, looked seriously with his tribe behind him. Thunderhawk and Turok fixed the fence line when they saw them coming.

"The Warriors are here!" Thunderhawk called.

The crowd gathered around and greeted their friends. Erza arrived and saw the warriors. She was now worried. As Cobra helped Locke and Athair out of the canoe as Erza walked next to her sister Vivi, Carue and Melody.

"Erza, are you crazy?" Vivi asked as Carue quacked in agree.

"Yeah, what were you doing with that—?" Melody was interrupted by Blade walking next to them.

"Erza, there you are," he said.

"Blade!" Erza was concerned.

"Look at them." Blade put his arm around her, "Now we have enough warriors to destroy those white demons!"

Cobra and Locke turned to the crowd.

"Now that we are joined by our brothers, we will defeat this enemy!" Cobra announced and the crowd cheered.

But Erza ran off worried towards her father as Blade, Vivi, Carue and Melody watched her go and looked at each other.

"Quack?" Carue quacked in confusion.

Erza ran to her father, "Father, I need to speak with you."

"Not now, my daughter. The council is gathering." Cobra walked off.

"We don’t have to fight them! There must be a better way." Erza protested.

"Sometimes our paths are chosen for us." Cobra sighed.

"But maybe we should try talking to them."

"They do not want to talk." Cobra walked off but Erza stopped him.

"But if one of them did want to talk, you would listen to him, wouldn’t you?"

"Erza..." Cobra stared at her as Athair stared too.

"Wouldn’t you?" Erza was desperated.

"Of course I would, but it is not that simple. Nothing is simple anymore." Cobra entered the tent as Erza stood there.

"Dear Erza." Athair walked to her.

"Huh?" she turned to him. "Wise Athair?"

"Your father warned you. You were warned. If we don't stop these demons, our home may be destroyed. The fate of our home rests in our hands." Athair said before he entered too. Erza stood in worry.

Unknown to her, Roxas stared at her and walked away.

Ethan walked in the woods, back to Jamestown, unaware that RJ, Hammy and Verne followed him.

"Wait! I heard something!" RJ whispered stopping his friends.

"What? What is it?!" Hammy asked excited.

The little animals turned to see an exhausted and panting Broggy, who soon enough noticed and chased them angrily.

"Yikes!! Not again!!" Verne yelped.

"Over here!" RJ ran inside a small log to the other side as Verne and Hammy followed him to escape from Broggy, who soon got stuck in the log. Hammy and Verne pulled trying to get free but RJ helped them to escape as Broggy lifted the log up and RJ grabbed it, allowing Hammy land on Ethan's shoulder, as Verne landed safely to the grass and sighed in relief, "Phew, that was close..."

"Come on!" RJ ran as Verne got up and followed.

Hammy looked up and waved to the trapped Broggy, "Adios!" Broggy fell to the ground, still trapped, and howled.

Meanwhile; Conker, Fry and Murray guarded the fort. Sora was a bit concerned as he and Neku, holding his shotgun, walked out. Then, the sound of a twin snapping was heard, and they both turn around.

"Who's there??!" Sora glared summoning his Keyblade as Neku aimed his shotgun.

They soon noticed Ethan and were relieved. "Phew." Sora sighed.

"Easy, guys. It’s me." Ethan said as RJ and Verne jumped into Ethan's bag. Hammy, watching this, yelped and did the same thing.

"Ethan, we could've killed you, you idiot." Neku sighed annoyed.

"Not aiming like that, you couldn’t." Ethan smirked as he pointed the shotgun to the right direction. "Keep both eyes open when you shoot. You’ll see twice as well." he patted Neku's back and walked in, until Conker, Fry and Murray saw him.

"Tidwell!" Conker called.

"There ya are!" Fry added.

"We were looking all over for you!" Murray finished.

"Thidwell!" Robotnik's voice yelled, as he walked out of the tent with Broque following him, "Where have you been?"

"I was out scattering the terrain, sir," Ethan replied.

"Excellent. Then you must know the InToons’ whereabouts. We’ll need that information for the battle." Robotnik smirked.

Ethan frowned, "What battle?"

"We will eliminate these savages once and for all!" Robotnik replied to his question.

"No! You can't do that!" protested Ethan. He was not going to tolerate this.

"Oh, can't I?" Robotnik stared with a glare.

"Look, we don't have to fight them," Ethan explained.

"Ethan, what's gotten into you?" Neku frowned.

"Something's wrong with you, pal!" Sora added.

"I've met one of them," Ethan answered.

"You what?!" Conker jawdropped and bugged his eyes out in surprise.

"A savage?!" Sora asked in concern.

"They're not savages." Ethan shook his head, "They can help us, they know the land! They know how to navigate the rivers and…" as he thought, RJ handed him a corn, "And look, its food!"

"What is it?" Fry asked.

"It's better than hardtack and gruel that's for sure. And much better than beef if you ask me!" Ethan smirked.

"I like gruel!" Broque said.

But Robotnik was mad and grabbed the corn in rage, "They don't want to feed us you fools! They want to kill us, all of us! They've got our gold and they'll do anything to keep it!" he snapped as his eyes glowed red.

"But there is no gold!" Ethan snapped in reply.

"No gold?!" Fry was surprised. "And to think that Leena forced to come here for nothing. Wait until I tell her and my friends about this."

"Then I supposed you little friend told you this?" Robotnik smirked.

"Yes," Ethan answered.

"Lies! Lies, all of it! Murderous thieves, there’s no room for their kind in civilised society!" Robotnik yelled in rage. "They are MORE worst than that blue hedgehog that always calls me Robuttnik or Buttnik!!"

"But this is their land!" Ethan glared.

"This is my land! I make the laws here. And I say anyone so much as looks at an InToon without killing him on sight, will be tried for treason and hanged!! Or better yet... ROBOTIZIED!!" Robotnik was now mad. He and Ethan glared at each other.

That night, Erza ran through the cornfield to meet up with Ethan and warn him.

"Erza! Sister!" Vivi stopped her.

"Sister! Melody!" Erza noticed her and Melody.

"Don’t go out there. We lied for you once, don’t ask us to do it again." Vivi begged in concern.

"I have to do this," Erza said.

"He's one of them!" Melody stopped her.

"You don't know him," said Erza to her.

Vivi had enough and walked in front of Erza, "You go out there, you’ll be turning your back on your own people, including me."

"She's right, Erza." Melody nodded, "Please, stop this!"

"I'm trying to help my people," Erza replied.

"Erza, please... You're my best friend," Melody begged.

"And you're my sister too." Vivi added, "We don't want you to get hurt."

"I won't, I know what I'm doing," Erza said before running off.

"Erza, no!" Vivi shouted, but it was too late, Erza ran through the cornfield.

Back at Jamestown, Ethan put his candle out to let the others to know he's sleep. He, RJ, Verne and Hammy came out of the tent.

"I have a bad feeling about this..." Verne gulped in fear.

While they sneak away, Conker and the others were near the campfire.

"Buttnik wouldn’t take us halfway around the world for nothing." Fry said.

"But what if Ethan's right? What if there is no gold?" Murray asked.

Ethan, RJ, Hammy and Verne snuck pass the tent and none of the men spotted them.

"If you ask me, Robuttnik’s been lying to us since we left London." Jimbo (The Simpsons) glared.

"Listen to you, you bunch of idiots! Those savages didn't attack us for nothing!" Conker said with a scoff, "They're hiding something."

Meanwhile, Ethan glaced at the two guards, and when to the forest. RJ and his friends looked around and followed him. But unknown to them, Sora and Neku noticed Ethan sneaking away, hiding behind the fence and leaving. They both looked out at the gate, watched him leave.

"Where's he going?" Neku asked.

"I don't know. He has something..." Sora thought.

But they yelp as someone pushed him out of the gate... Robotnik.

"Follow him," Robotnik ordered at Neku.

"Yes sir," Neku nodded.

"I want to know where he's sneaking off," Robotnik said.

"Yes sir," Neku understood.

"And if you happen to see any InToons," Robotnik tossed him, a shotgun, "Shoot them." Neku nodded sadly and began to leave, but Robotnik stopped him, "Oh, and Neku Sakuraba, I almost forgot. You've been a slip shot sailor and a poor excuse for a soldier. Learn from Sora next time. He may be a Keybearer, but he has the discipline you need. Don't disappoint me," Robotnik smirked.

Neku nodded sadly and walked away without no choice.

"And you, Sora." Robotnik turned to Sora. "Use your Keyblade... Just in case. And follow him. But, make sure he doesn't know it."

Sora sighed and summoned his keyblade and walked away. They both were unnoticed that Roxas stared at him, hiding from the bushes. He glared and ran away.

Back at the village, Blade was working on the weapons for the battle. Melody walked up to him, worried, "Blade…"

"What is it?" Blade noticed her worried look.

"It's Erza…" Melody said.

"What's wrong? Is she okay?" Blade asked in concern. He couldn't live with himself, knowing that something could happen at Erza.

Melody left him no choice, "I think she's in trouble."

Outside the tent, Vivi heard this and gasped, "Oh no... Melody!"

"Don't worry! I'll bring Xion and Axel with me and find her." Blade assured, "But... where's Roxas?" he asked.

Back to the woods, Sora was walking looking for Neku until...

"Wait!" a voice called him.

"Huh?" Sora turned and gasped when he saw Roxas, "You again!!" he summoned his Keyblade.

"Wait." Roxas held his hand up.

"Huh?" Sora stared in confusion.

"That chief of yours... Robotnik... He's leading you to the wrong path." Roxas warned.

"Uh? What are you...?"

"I heard it all. Your friend... Ethan, right? He tried to reason them, when he met Princess Erza Scarlet." Roxas explained.

"He what??!" Sora gasped.

"She could help us." Roxas assured. "I know I'm with my new people now, but I can't help but feel war won't give us nothing."

"So... We are now friends?" Sora smiled.

"It is up to you, if you trust me. I need to save Blade and Erza. Axel and Xion are going to find her with Blade. If you and your friend can explain, maybe this problem is solved." Roxas said as Sora was now confused. "I'm supposed to be there to help them."
