Episode 18 – MGM vs. Krocken

Inside the spaceship, the Heroes were eating on the dinning room, still wondering about Krocken.

“I hope Krocken is okay.” Wing said sadly.

“Yeah, he didn't want to say nothing about that girl or his past.” Breezie added.

“Maybe it's because that past should hurt him so much.” Sonic said before he finished his chili-dog.

“I'm sure Optimus and MegaGundamMan will find him and help him.” Zeval assured at him. “They're looking for him.”

But, Vegeta scoffed. “Why do we need him? If he doesn't want to stay, he should go away.”

“Vegeta!” Goku snapped at him.

Outside, still raining, MGM and Optimus kept searching for Krocken.

“You see anything, Optimus?” MGM asked at the autobot.

“No, but I can detect his presence.” Optimus answered still on his truck mode.

“Where?”

“Over there.” Optimus said as he turned to the destination.

Meanwhile, Krocken was on a rock mountain, sitting on a rock pillar. He thought for himself, about his crimes, his deeds... about the place he couldn't find. He soon had a flashback on his mind.

Krocken was with a beautiful girl having a walk. She had dark blue hair and dark green eyes and wore a red long dress with a belt and light blue shoes. Her name was Haruki, Krocken's old love. They smiled at each other and have a good time together.

Krocken was silent until he felt someone. He didn't turn back, however, he soon enough knew who it was: MGM and Optimus, on his Autobot Mode.

“Why did you come here?” he asked at them sternly.

“We need you, Krocken.” MGM was the first one to answer. “Only you can help us.”

“Forget it.” Krocken refused. “You already know it, don't you? I'm a freelance warrior, serving no one but myself, ever since the Dark Hunters.”

“It doesn't matter. You shouldn't worry about your past anymore, you only wanted to belong to somewhere.”

"The past shapes us into who we are today. They laden us with burdens-some more than others... that we carry for our entire lives."

(Ends music)

“That's true.” Optimus agreed. “But burdens shouldn't constantly weigh people down, as in inhibits growth and recovery.”

(Music: Okami – Confronting Ushiwaka)

Krocken had enough, and got up and turned to them.

“You know what, bolt-heads?” Krocken glared as he drew his sword. “You're actually starting to annoy me.”

“Krocken, please. I ask only to look into yourself and see the right path. Deep down, I know there is kindness within you.” Optimus begged to the raptor, but Krocken just scoffed.

“Feh, you don't know what it's like to be me: Alone for countless years: no home, no family, nothing but myself, my blade, and whatever cash I have at the time. It's how I lived, and will continue to do so forever!”

“Look, I can tell your life was hard... but we just want to help!” MGM said firmly. “That's what what friends are for! And to do that, we really need to know the whole story on what happened in the past!”

Krocken snarled, readies his blade and snapped, “THAT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! If you insist on standing on my way, then I will hack you down!”

“WAIT! We don't have to do it like this!”

(Music: BlazBlue – Susanooh)

“I think we do, bucket head! I am the one who goes his own path, and you two will not stand in my way!” Krocken said before he proceed to attack.

He jumped towards MGM and tried to slash him, but MGM dodged him just in time and drew his blade. They both fought each other with their blades. Next, Krocken shot some beams from his hand towards MGM, who blocked them with his blade.

“Krocken! No! Stop!” Optimus called at Krocken uselessly.

Krocken turned to Optimus angrily and charged towards him. Optimus defended himself throwing him away. Krocken, however, landed just in time on the ground.

“Stop it at once!” MGM called at Krocken.

“I'll show you!” Krocken snarled before he did a trick. He separated his sword into two beetle beasts with the size of rhinos.

The first is white and is called Akarusa, and the black one is Yami.

“What the...?” MGM asked shocked.

“Go after Optimus! I'll take care of the other one!” Krocken ordered to the beetles.

The beetles obeyed and fought Optimus who tried to fight them.

MGM was angry and he and Krocken kept fighting. Krocken used his tail, claws, fangs, and ice beams from his hands as MGM still had his blade to block his attacks.

After fighting a bit Krocken jumped back, and when he was about to attack, he heard a screaming voice.

“COWABUNGA!” it was Mikey who jumped towards Krocken.

Krocken dodged him and Mikey crashed with a rock wall literally.

“How can this be...?” Krocken demanded angrily.

Much to his surprise, he turned  to see all heroes and Rangers, getting ready to stop this fight. Piccolo and Meta Knight helped Optimus on his fight with Akarusa and Yami. Meta Knight slashed them as Piccolo charged his Special Beam Cannon.

“SPECIAL BEAM... CANNON!” Piccolo shouted as he fired his technique at the beetles, which made them turn back into Krocken's sword.

“How did you know we were there?” Krocken asked.

“My mind helped on this.” Zeval explained.

I was using my mind to find you until I also saw Optimus and Mega Gundam Man. They were trying to talk with you, but you refused to listen them because of your pain and attacked them.

As Zeval said this, we see Zeval using her mental powers to see what was going on. She was shocked about the fight and called to all the heroes and Rangers.

I had no choice to call to the group and come to stop this fight.

“Krocken, please, we need some answers from you. And to stop this!” she pleaded.

“THIS... IS NOT...  OF YOUR BUSINESS!!!” Krocken roared furiously.

“It is!” Goku insisted. “Please, tell us, who's that girl? And why are you always so... rude?”

(Stops music)

Krocken sighed in frustration.

“Fine... Do you want to know her?” he proceed to explain. “She was... my love. The only girl I could love. The one who could heal my heart.”

(Music: BlazBlue – Hollow)

Krocken and Haruki were laughing together.

“Her name was Haruki, she was beautiful. I met her on a small village when I left the Dark Hunters. She helped me to change.”

On another image, Krocken was walking until he collided accidentally with someone.

“Hey, watch your step, buddy!” Krocken growled.

“Oh, I'm sorry.” A female voice was heard.

Krocken opened his eyes and saw Haruki who was begging him for forgiveness.

“Since the day I saw her, something changed me.”

Krocken and Haruki were talking walks, eating ice cream, etc.

“We meet at each other, and stood together 2 years. Then, the time passed and it was time that we married...”

Another scene shows Krocken, waving “See ya later!” to her former love, because he went after a ring for the proposal.

“But one day, I left to find a ring for the long awaited moment. And then, fate turned the things to worst.”

Haruki was on her house, until some Dark Hunter kicked the door and showed up. Haruki gasped and her scream was heard.

Krocken, with ring on his hand, he ran happily to Haruki's house, just to find her... dead.

“Then, someone killed my poor Haruki! Someone...  a MONSTER!”

Krocken was horrified as he saw her dead body with a letter drawn on her blood. He started to read it and was even more horrified than before. The letter said:

This was just a sample of the price of your betrayal. We'll keep doing too many things to you, until the day that we finally kill you.

The Shadowed One.

Krocken was so miserable since that day...

“I soon knew that the Dark Hunters killed her by leaving them.” he said on his misery.

“We're... sorry, Krocken.” Ken apologized to him.

“Why do you must sorry without knowing what I've been through?!” Krocken snapped of his misery, much to the shock and worry of their allies.

“I've lost my home by the Grox... even my friend Grimlock...!” Krocken started to get some angry because of his misery.

“Wait, Krocken!” Ethan tried to talk with him. “We know about Grimlock and...!”

“HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT?!” Krocken snarled. “Who did tell you this?!”

“Optimus!” Silver answered. “He knows your pain and you should let him help ya!” Sonic nodded in agreement.

Unknown to everyone, Krocken was getting more enraged.

“You must know this too, Krocken! Everything happens by something, but there's always a way to fix it, or even handle it!” Yoh added.

“Even thought our pain is big,  there is always a way to heal these wounds!” Amidamaru added to agree Yoh.

“SILEEEEEEEEEENCE!!” Krocken roared, he had enough. “I...”

(Stops music)

But soon, he began to spark with dark energy.

“OH NO!” Krocken exclaimed.

“Krocken! What's wrong?!” Raphael called at him.

“NNNNNRRRRUUUUUGHHHHHHH!!!” Krocken yelled as he clutched himself.

Krocken's body, with dark lighting crackling over, began to change, his body doubled in size and his muscles bulged. His head broadens as spiked mandibles spout form the side of his mouth, as well as twisted horns on the top of his head. An extra set of legs, with sharp feline paws, sprouted from underneath as his underbelly went white. A spike sac, dripping with poison, grew on the end of his tail, while spikes and wings shot out form his back. This is was... Savage Krocken!

(Music: Okami - Crimson Helm, Begone!)

“GYYAOOOOOO!” Savage Krocken roared in a feral expression, making shake the ground.

Inky and Winky trembled in fear as they hugged at each other and screamed.

“Oh dear!” Poindexter exclaimed in shock, seeing Krocken's hideous form.

“Less talk and more fight!” Vegeta snapped as he turned into Super Saiyan 2.

He flew toward Savage Krocken and tried to punch him, but Krocken roared and rammed him with his horns, making him fly away. However, Vegeta recovered himself in the air and growled angrily.

“BIG BANG ATTACK!” Vegeta shouted shooting his Big Beam Attack to Krocken.

Much to the shock of everyone, even Vegeta, Krocken didn't take any damage! Krocken roared even more.

Goku, seeing this, turned himself into Super Saiyan 2 and flew to stop Krocken. Wanting to help Ethan also turned into Super Saiyan and flew to help.

“W-w-w-w-what is that... thing?!” Luigi stammered pointing at Luigi.

“I don't know but it's... evil!” Sparkster exclaimed.

“We gotta do something!” Ventor added. “Whatever happens to Krocken must be controlling him!”

“Then let's go, bubs!” Wolverine said as he drew his claws.

“No, guys, stop!” MGM tried to stop them, but it was no use.

They soon ran/flew/dashed and tried to stop Krocken, who was now so mad and roared towards them.

“Watch out!” Cyclops called to the others.

Krocken was about to attack with a punch breaking the ground, but all the heroes jumped just in time.

MGM and Optimus found Poindexter, Inky and Winky on a safe point.

“Guys! Stay there! We'll fix this!” MGM called to them, who nodded at them.

MGM and Optimus jumped to the battlefield as Savage Krocken was fighting to the heroes' group.

Wolverine tried to slash him with his claws, as the Ninja Turtles used their weapons; X and Zero shot with their busters and Naruto used his Clone Jutsu. However, it was no use, any attack didn't hurt Krocken!

“Darn! This guy's is so strong!” Fox gasped.

“What can we do? Krocken... is our friend!” Slippy exclaimed.

Krocken roared and charged towards Shadow, ramming them towards a rock pillar.

“Shadow!” Sonic said in shock.

“Not again!” Silver groaned.

Shadow however just recovered himself and dashed towards Savage Krocken and both fought dodging rocky pillars.

Sonic and Mario ran after them as Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Gohan, Ethan and Trunks flew behind them. Shadow and Krocken landed in the rocky ground and kept fighting as Kirby, riding his Warp Star flew towards them to fight. He jumped from the star and kicked Krocken on his face, but it didn't work.

Then, Kirby had an idea, he inhaled Shadow and his eyes were now red and he had the same spines as Shadow and his same shoes. Shadow appeared from a star and landed in the ground. He stared at Kirby surprised.

“What?!” he asked.

Krocken dashed towards Kirby, but he used Shadow's moves and combos to attack him. However, Krocken, threw him away, and shot his ice breath to freeze him.

Soon, the attacked was blocked by a giant flame, coming from Sora, who shot Fire magic with his Keyblade.

“Krocken! Stop! Stop it before you get worse!” he called Savage Krocken.

Infuriated by Sora blocking his attack, Krocken flew towards him, but Kirby saw this and yelled: “CHAOS... CONTROL!”

He did Chaos Control and moved Sora away as Shadow also used Chaos Control to tag team Krocken with Kirby.

“Let's do it!” he said to Kirby, who nodded.

As Kirby punched and kicked Krocken without stopping, Shadow made some Chaos Spears on several points. He snapped his fingers and the Spears hit Krocken, and Chaos Control stopped working.

From the dust, Krocken dashed and punched Kirby and Shadow away, which made Kirby lose his power. As Silver helped them with his psychic powers, Meta Knight and Riku fought Savage Krocken without success.

“He's... a monster...” Meta Knight said in awe.

“Come on, you monster!” Riku teased at Krocken.

Trying to stop Krocken, Cyclops used his Optic Blast to shoot Krocken from behind, just to make Krocken turn to Cyclops and throwing him away with this tail.

Sonic, Shadow and Silver glared and used Sonic's Chaos Bracelet to turn into Super Sonic, Super Shadow and Super Silver. They flew towards Krocken, but he used his fire breath to catch them off guard and knocking them out. However, they got up and recovered themselves.

(Stops music)

“I thought he was an ice wielder!” Terrence exclaimed as he saw this, with Wing, Sparkster and Ventor.

“We must stop him!” Ventor snapped before he turned into Light Ventor with his power jewel, and Terrence flew with him with his wings.

“This is awful!” Breezie said in fear.

(Music: Kingdom Hearts – The Deep End)

Next, Krocken roared wildly and flew to the sky, as Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Ethan, Piccolo, Super Sonic, Super Shadow, Super Silver, Meta Knight, Light Ventor and Terrence flew towards him.

X saw this and turned into his Ultimate Armor and flew to help to the flying heroes.

“X, wait!” Zero tried to stop him, but it was no use.

As the flying heroes fought Krocken, X charged his X-Buster at full power. Piccolo shot a Light Grenade, Ethan was kicking and punching Krocken, Super Shadow shot Chaos Spears as Super Sonic did his Homing Attack towards Savage Krocken, Trunks used his sword to attack Krocken as Goku and Vegeta charged their Kamehameha and Final Flash, Meta Knight slashes Krocken with his sword as Ventor shot his Light Beam, Gohan and Super Silver teamed up to fight Krocken as Terrence shot green flame beams from his hands to Krocken's tail. All these efforts, however, were useless, since Krocken didn't get damaged.

Meanwhile, X shot his buster to Krocken on his back, which made him turn to X. Goku and Vegeta took advantage of this and shot his Kamehameha and Final Flash.

“KAMEHAMEHA!”

“FINAL FLASH!”

These techniques also hit Krocken on his back, and this made him roar even more furiously. He soon knocked out everyone with his claws, throwing them away to the ground.

“He's unstoppable!” MGM said in shock.

“Indeed!” Optimus agreed.

Yoh used his Over Soul technique with Amidamaru on his Harusame and charged to Krocken to help.

“Let's go, Amidamaru!” he said to Amidamaru.

“All right, Master Yoh!” Amidamaru nodded in agree.

Sparkster saw this and charged his rocket jet pack, before he flew to the fighting field.

“Yoh, wait! It's dangerous!” he called at Yoh.

Hubie, Rocko, Mario and Luigi stood there.

“What can we do, Mario?” Luigi said in panic and fear.

“I don't know...” Mario answered.

Ryu, Ken, Riku and Zero ran to stop Krocken.

“Stay there, guys! He's too powerful for you!” Ken warned to them.

Mario, Luigi and Hubie nodded, but Rocko was not happy.

“Hey, no human tells me what should I do!” Rocko snapped.

“No, Rocko! It's for our good!” Hubie tried to calm him down.

Yoh jumped towards Krocken, but when he was about to slash him with 'Celestial Slash', Krocken seized him which made Yoh drop his weapon with it.

“NO! I'M TOO DELICATE FOR THAT!” Yoh exclaimed in shock.

“Master Yoh!” Amidamaru gasped.

Just as soon as Krocken was about to rip him in half, a punch of Zero interrupted him, along with Ryu and Ken yelling, 'SHORYUKEN!'

They hit him on the face with their Shoryuken, which made him drop Yoh. Optimus took advantage of this and pinned Krocken in the ground.

“Krocken, stop! It's not yourself!” Optimus said, trying to make Krocken back to his senses.

However, he didn't know that Krocken used his tail to shoot poison to him. Optimus cringed in pain as a part of his armor was corroded.

“Optimus!” MGM yelled dashing towards the Autobot to protect him.

He stood between Optimus and Krocken and stared at the Savage monster.

“I won't let you get away with this anymore!” he glared at Krocken, who roared at him in response.

Zeval, suddenly, appeared and used her mental powers to stop Krocken. Krocken roared in pain as he tried to go himself free of the spell.

“Please, Krocken! Calm down!” Zeval said as she struggled to make Krocken back to his normal form and senses.

As Krocken was still roaring, Zeval insisted.

“Krocken, please. Haruki never saw you like that... like a monster!” she begged.

(Stops music)

Haruki's name made Krocken stop on his tracks, as all the group stared, some of them injured and the others, breathing. In Krocken's mind, several images of him with Haruki appeared.

Soon, Krocken was going back to his normal form. His face soon turned into a one of regret, guilty and sadness.

“If only... I could save her.” he said miserably.

MGM and Optimus saw this as Zeval walked to Krocken to comfort him.

“Krocken, you really loved her. You did everything for her.” she said at Krocken.

Krocken was silent, he was surrounded by the loss of his only love, and the guilty of almost kill to the Heroes and Rangers.

“I couldn't save her. She should go with me, so that wasn't happened at her.” he said sadly.

“Krocken, sometimes, the fate gives us something unfair. But sometimes, it can give us something that can heal the wounds of the heart. If you watch around you, you'll see that there are too many allies that they want to help you.” Zeval said, helping at Krocken.

The raptor listened and looked to see some of the Rangers and Heroes, injured by the fight.

“Please... please don't me this!” Krocken begged. “I fell more guilty than I'm now!”

“They don't hate you for what you've done.” Zeval smiled.

“What?” Krocken was confused.

“They wanted to help you, so your pains could be healed.” Zeval finished.

(Stops music)

Krocken walked towards MGM and asked at him, “You guys...accept me still...after you know what I am and what I've done?”

MGM smiled and nodded, “Sure, man.”

(Music: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2: Sacrifice)

“That's...I don't know what to say.” Krocken smiled.

“So, will you come back to the team?” Optimus asked.

“I have nothing to do, so... I guess I can.” Krocken nodded. “I don't care about the money. You guys can keep it, comrades.”

All the heroes smiled, knowing that Krocken realized his mistake and he could count on them. Wing, Poindexter, Inky, Breezie, Mario, Luigi, Hubie, Winky and Rocko watched this from a cliff and they were happy to know that Krocken was now okay and he would return to the team... to help... to be a better person.

Meanwhile...

(Change music: Solatorobo - Gold Golden Roar)

In Nexor's castle...

The villains were having a discussion with their leader, who was not happy with the current results.

“So, the heroes continue to get the Sapphires, leaving with an incomplete set. Need I remind you all that we need all of them together in order for them to work?” Nexor glared as he stood in front of them.

“No, we have not forgotten, it’s just that these heroes, along with these ‘Rangers’ prove to be awfully stubborn.” Drake gulped trying to explain.

“Even after I powered you up with darkness? Shameful.”

“Well, we have their friends’ captive, so they’ll come to us with the Sapphires and-” Oogie Boogie shrugged.

“I won’t take any chances.” Nexor interrupted as he sat up on his throne. “I want them taken care of soon as possible! I want the Sapphires taken form their cold dead bodies! I WANT THEIR HEADS!!!” he snapped furiously as he smacked with his fist.

Brezok was hearing this and entered on the throne room.

“If I may, Lord Nexor.” he called to the evil overlord as everyone turned to Brezok as he came up. “I may have something for us that could solve our littlie problem.”

“And that would be…?” Raidex asked sarcastically.

Brezok proceed to explain.

“During my wanderings across the multiverse, I came upon the most amazing things: Ruins of an advanced civilization that, somehow, idiotically killed themselves off.” he smirked. “But they left some things behind. I discovered a cybernetic form of life they made, preserved in the bowels in the temple.”

“Oh, yes. Let’s use a shambling mummy on those pests, so we can watch it rumble into dust by a flick of their fingers.” Eggman said sarcastically.

“Uh, no, Egg-for-Brains.” Brezok said dryly to the Doctor. “I already fixed it up and revived it. All we gotta do now is bring it here so we can tell it what to do.”

“Well then, bring it here and let’s me this thing you found.” Nexor grinned.

“Eh, it’s kinda big, so we need to do it outside, maybe on the rooftop.” Brezok explained before he smiled darkly. “In addition, I’d like the girls to be brought up so they can witness the executioner of their friends.”

“Very well.” Nexor nodded.

(Stops music)

The villains, Nexor, Raidex, minions, and the girls were on the top of the castle, waiting for Brezok.

“What is this all about?” Videl demanded. “You better tell us what's going on!”

“Heh, we won't tell you.” Sigma answered at her.

“Krystal, my dear. Brezok has a beautiful surprise for you... and me.” Panther said seductively at Krystal.

“Don't dare to touch me, Panther!” Krystal snapped before he slapped Panther on his face.

“But, honey! What did I do to you?” he overacted.

“If this is a joke, you're wasting time, you freaks!” Anna snapped.

Cooler hears that and grabbed Anna by the throat with his tail as the other girl watch horrified.

“If you want to still alive, we suggest you to close your mouth.” Frieza said to Anna as his brother kept straggling Anna.

Brezok eventually showed up, holding a remote device. Activating it, he opened a massive portal on top of the castle.

“Allow me to introduce...the ultimate hero killer.” he gestured to the portal.

(Music: Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 – The Resurrection of Solaris)

A moment passed then something unbelievably huge came through. It was a cybernetic beast, with a single horizontal red eye, a metallic beak with mandibles, three fins on his back, massive hooked claws,a buzzsaw on his chest and a long forked tail. The minions and villains stepped back in shock and terror, voicing their shock, as Raidex looked on in awe. Nexor looks on in wonder as the beast comes through the portal and roared.

“MEET... GIGAN!” Brezok yelled before he laughed insanely.
